Infrastructure Specialist: End User Computing at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• Build and run the best IT Infrastructure, responsible for delivering and maintaining products and services to Capitec end-users, using industry leading technologies.
• Ensure products and services are optimal, efficient, deployed at speed, scalable, cost effective, high performing and innovative in nature.

Experience

MINIMUM:

• 5+ years ICT experience in the end-user computing environment
• 3+ years design and implementation of desktop hardware, software and management systems servicing the end-user computing environment in the enterprise.
• 3+ years in desktop infrastructure maintenance using systems such as: System Centre Configuration, Unified Endpoint Management, BitLocker, and Microsoft cloud-based services.

Qualifications (Minimum)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Information Technology - Computer Science
• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Information Technology - Computer Science

Knowledge

MINIMUM:

• Microsoft Windows
• Microsoft Exchange
• Microsoft SCCM
• Microsoft inTune
• Microsoft Azure

IDEAL:

• Currently relevant industry cloud solution technologies (e.g. Office 365, Azure)
• Video, Voice and Collaboration services (Polycom, Cisco, Skype / Teams)
• Virtual Desktop Technologies (VDI, Citrix, VMWARE)
