Dentons is currently recruiting an interim Global Finance Project Coordinator; to support the implementation of a significant global Finance transformation program. This position will report to the Global Finance Transformation (GFT) FP&A Manager, and work closely with the GFT FP&A Lead, regional FP&A teams, PMO and interface with key stakeholders and teams to ensure successful delivery of the Tagetik project within agreed budget and project implementation timeframes.
As the Interim Global Finance Project Coordinator, you will support various teams to deliver to agreed timelines and support team leads to resolve impediments in achieving that goal. You will focus on the key deliverables and milestones as documented in project scope and planning documentation to ensure the project “stays on track”. Your primary responsibility will be working with the GFT FP&A Manager, the GFT FP&A Lead and SI Partner to deliver and maintain the project plan that delivers the overall solution within agreed timelines. You will also work closely with the Global FP&A Data team and the regional FP&A teams to ensure that dependencies, risks and issues are understood and that delivery plans are aligned.
The finance transformation program is a truly global program designed to transform Dentons' finance function into the business partnering function of the future. It will support the business by offering real business insight, efficient and effective processes while maintaining the necessary compliance and controls.

Key Deliverables
Ensure the timely development of the FP&A tool through project reporting - scorecards, dashboards and reports
Manage the analysis of project performance and estimating models
Management of and set up where applicable, relevant processes, tools and templates to implement improvements and best practice in delivery, drive efficiency, ownership and visibility; including RAID log, plan management, Change Control, Resource & Capacity Management
Manage the document management system and maintenance process for project files in support of the implementation
Ensure timely development of the FP&A solution through coordination of project meetings to ensure positive momentum continues
Key Responsibilities
All below responsibilities below are to be completed in line with Global Finance Transformation Program Governance:
Create, control, maintain and assure detailed reports
Implement the strategic PMO standards, including POAP, report templates, RAID, etc.
Assist in implementing governance and reporting
Produce project level plan status reports, management dashboards and delivery trackers relating to the implementation
Reporting status, look ahead, what-if’s, constraints and pre-empt plan issues and providing regular updates / insight to potential delivery, or resource capacity risks / constraints to enable proactive management action to be undertaken by project and program governance
Provide guidance on project / PMO management processes, procedures, tools and techniques
Administer project RAID and change control processes
Supporting action management to ensure actions are completed within agreed timescales and within budget
Ensuring all risk & issues are logged (in accordance with the PMO standards) and communicated to project lead level and if required to Global Finance PMO Lead
Manage dependencies and inter-dependencies; including external
Provide overall support and management on:
Resource management forecasts and capacity planning & utilisation
Timely escalation of project planning / dependency risk and issues to the project leads
Communicating and engagement with plans and governance with global and regional colleagues and stakeholders to ensure they are informed and involved about key project activities, and ensure information is gathered and information shared where required to support project implementation in a timely manner
About You
Business international level of English – both written and oral
Highly collaborative and able to work in a global environment, accommodating the different time zones, building relationships. Only team players with a track record of effective collaboration will be considered
Evidence of having worked concurrently across regions
Strong written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Experience of business, finance and technology transformation programs,
At least five years’ experience in Project Management and PMO creating, maintaining and continuously improving with a proven track record in the following:
supporting complex global transformation programs including project management, continuous improvement and change management;
Experience of Technology, Business Change and Service Transition Project Planning including extensive, demonstrable hands on experience of initiating, building and maintaining/managing complex multi-phase and multi-deployment
Set up, maintain, drive, coach on and embed PMO methodology and governance.
Project management disciplines and have a desire to ensure successful project delivery in a rapidly changing organization
Managing projects through a lifecycle, delivering on time, to budget, and achieving the business case benefits
You will possess:
Experience of working on international projects both in PMO and in project management
Experience of working in a professional services firm
Project Management qualifications e.g. MSP, P2 Practitioner
PMO qualifications – e.g. 3PO Practitioner
