Intern: Assurance & Monitoring at Road Accident Fund

Work based exposure may include the following:

• Assist in the implementation of internal control reviews and control self-assessment.
• Assist in developing control improvement plans, key controls, and indicators to proactively identify potential control failures.
• Track and monitor progress against the implementation rate and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Assist in reviewing and monitoring all the assurance work completed at the designated areas of responsibility/processing centres/regions.
• Maintenance of the monthly Combined Assurance Dashboard of overdue and repeat findings.
• Attend Task Team Meetings, administration functions such as drafting the agenda, sending meeting invites, drafting minutes, and following up on matters arising and action plans.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of reports.
• Attend to inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and other Requirements

• Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Bachelor’s degree/ Advanced Diploma in Internal Auditing/Risk Management/ Governance/ Compliance/ Auditing.
• Certified copy of your ID
