Main Purpose of Job
To develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for the firm and centrally manages all digital marketing campaigns.
Key Performance Area
Interrogates, clearly understands and communicates to team the agreed strategic objectives of the firm.
Manages the implementation of the strategic imperatives in line with:
→ Implementation of change initiatives within designated area/s
→ Management of the implementation of plan on a day-to-day basis with team
→ Clear and regular communication with superior and team on implementation status
Supports own Service Area leadership in carrying out EXCO mandate
Builds professional relationships within service area to understand business needs in area/s of responsibility
Generates and implements innovative ideas and solutions within area of responsibility in collaboration with team members to enhance / renew service offerings
Develop a robust and well considered strategic digital marketing strategy, aligned with the relevant business strategy and objectives.
Performs competitor research and analysis and provides regular updates to marketing team & internal stakeholders. Understand the market environment and what our competitors are doing.
Displays subject matter expertise and strategic insight in order to advise the business on best practice and strategies on how to meet objectives.
Proactively provides innovative ideas and opportunities to the marketing teams to ensure that the firm is at the forefront of digital marketing.
Budgets and Forecast
Provides input into annual budget and forecasts to superior for drafting of budget for Service Area
Monitor spend and track actuals against budget
Manages and communicates discrepancies to line manager timeously.
Implementation of Strategy
Manages and monitors implementation of the digital marketing strategy
Performance Reporting: track and measure performance of all campaigns including channel effectiveness using adobe analytics, sprinkler and campaign reports from media agencies
Using an online briefing form to manage the entire campaign briefing process between client and media agencies that will result in an approved media plan.
Project manage the implementation of all paid media campaigns.
Responsible to schedule all relevant content for the firm across all social media platform and develop weekly content plan with associated implementation calendar
Check content upon submission to ensure that all campaigns published on social media aligns to the agreed firm’s strategic themes
Check content upon submission to ensure adherence to firm’s marketing protocols and digital marketing guidelines.
Support the brand communications (Executive office) team by posting global signature campaigns and advising on content of Africa signature campaigns.
Social listening on key brand themes using the sprinkler platform and communicating opportunities for Deloitte to participate in trending online conversations.
Track social influencers on brand themes using Sprinklr and reporting on opportunities for Deloitte to connect with them.
Reputation management by raising any potential reputational issues for Deloitte Africa on social media to the brand communications team.
Consistently complies with Deloitte brand and corporate identity guidelines and produces work of appropriate quality and compliance
Responsible to check all content for brand compliance before scheduling any campaign
Postgraduate qualification (relevant to Service Area / Business Management, etc.)
5+ years’ working experience within the relevant function
2 years at Senior Consultant level within the function
