Internal Sales at Regent Lighting Solution

About the job

•        To sell and promote the company products and assist the sales staff.
•        Good customer relations, willing to assist customers and develop relationships with all our clients.
•        Assist with all customer queries, communicating with head office to sort out problems or ensure deadlines are met.
•        Keeping track of all orders and their progress. Inform customers of the progress or any problems that will affect their orders
•        Administrative work: Quotations, ProForma Invoices, Processing of Sales Orders, Invoicing, Returns, Follow ups, Filing, Maintenance calls, Stock takes, Samples, switchboard duties
•        Despatch customer orders and receive stock.
•        Handling the sales consultant’s calls and queries when they are out of the office
•        Follow up on requests made by the Sales Consultant for Special pricing, delivery dates, samples etc. on the Sales Consultants behalf.
•        Checking sales consultant’s emails and taking calls when the sales consultant is not available.
•        Communicating any business –related issues and concerns to manager.
•        Any other reasonable request from manager.

Requirements:

•        Previous experience in the lighting industry or retail would be preferable
•        Experience as a PA will be given preference
•        Experience on Pastel Evolution would be an advantage
•        Must be experienced in Excel.
•        Must have a Matric.
•        Must be able to work under pressure.
•        Must be a hard worker and a team player.
•        Must be able to work independently.
•        Must have a pleasant and cheerful nature
•        Must have a clear and pleasant telephone demeanour
•        Must have good communication skills, both verbally and written
