Minimum Requirements
(Grade 12) / N3 or equivalent
Relevant management experience in current department
Experience within the area of specialization

Key Responsibilities
Accept full overall responsibility for the department
Ensure that security procedures are adhered to
Conduct regular quality checks, ensure that stock is rotated. Damaged/expired stock is removed
Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages
Complete all relevant administration/documentation
Optimize stock levels e.g. Always in stock, never overstocked through effective ordering and efficient handling of returns by accurate stock counts
Communicate effectively with store management, department managers and staff
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in effective working order and operated in accordance with laid down standards
Manage employees to ensure standards are maintained by competent, motivated employees.
