IT Network Engineer (Sandton) at Sun International

Description

• The IT Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining Sun International’s network infrastructure across properties and central environments.
• The role focuses on deploying and configuring network solutions, providing second-line support, ensuring network availability and performance, and supporting project delivery through technical execution.
• Working within established architecture, security, and governance frameworks, the incumbent collaborates closely with the Architecture, Security, and Service Management teams to ensure a stable and secure network environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networks, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications in networking and infrastructure technologies.
• Vendor certifications such as Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent will be advantageous.

Experience:

• 5–8 years relevant IT networking experience
