    IT Outsource Pricing & Solutions Specialist

    Architect and craft complex outsourcing solutions in support of sales and outsource operations.

    Solution Architecture

    • Evaluate the technology and service solutions available to the outsource team from inside the TMT group and from our chosen partners.
    • Selectively adapt these solutions for delivery in the South African market.
    • Understand customer requirements (existing and new) and their strategic direction (ICT architecture).
    • Craft winning service based solutions that leverage standard service components to meet requirements.
    • Perform the Lead liaison role with the solution specialists in contributing BU’s and our chosen partners
    • Document these solutions for inclusion into proposals / bids, and for service delivery.
    • Work with the costing, pricing and commercial teams to identify risk, resourcing and licensing implications.
    • Participate in bid review process from “Initial Approval to Bid” through to “Submission Sign-off”
    • Obtain solution sign-off from Transition and Operations teams for proposed solutions.
    • Update standard solutions repository to facilitate re-use and IP capture.
    • Service Enrichment
    • Engage with the Account or Program Management function to identify and develop new service opportunities on existing accounts and actively participate in securing the business.
    • Form part of the Service Excellence Forum to drive technology and process based improvements into the service delivery process.
    • Participate in Technical Design Authority (TDA) discussions and client presentations / workshops that enhance the company’s value proposition in outsource deals.
    • Perform periodic reviews of the standard solutions with the sales and delivery teams to refine and enhance offerings. Use these reviews as a source of collateral for the point below.

    Collateral Development

    • Provide input to collateral for marketing and sales that highlights the value of the outsource service to clients (typically; white papers, case studies, reference material, “QuickPages”, brochure content, press releases).
    • Assist in quantifying and motivating the value proposition for proposals

    Pricing Specialist

    • Rough order of magnitude costing
    • Pricing calculations / Presentations
    • Pricing specialist research, analyse and interpret data in order to develop pricing strategies
    • Monitor competitor pricing trends and set promotions
    • Be in charge of keeping pricing and incomes within contract standards and assisting with pricing surveys
    • Proposed content / Integrity pricing specialist
