RESPONSIBILITIES:

IT Policy Framework Mapping

• Plan the initiative and obtain necessary approvals (completed)b.
• Evaluate the gap between (primarily) standards, regulations (secondary) and legislation (optional) applied to current IT Policy Framework Mapping in place and the latest industry-leading standards.
• The framework mapping will include familiar components, such as a domain/process model, governance/management practices, RACI charts and inputs/outputs.
• Inventory of IT Industry framework benchmark & Drivers.
• Establish process ownership, clear accountability for IT activities.

Develop a reference repository.

• Develop/build single system of reference and framework repository.
• Policy, guideline level mapping
• Mapping by process and functional area
• Update current Group IT Policy framework.
• Workshop IT Policy Framework Mapping
• Probable Ad-hoc artefact development on related artefacts mapped.
• Develop materials for publication.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• IT policy framework mapping should be against the following industry frameworks:
• IT Governance: (currently COBIT 4.1 – desired mapping to next iterations i.e, COBIT 5, ISO 38500 (and similar industry standards like AS, BS) and COBIT 2019
• IT Service Management: (currently ITIL v2 – desired mapping to next iterations i.e, ITIL v4 and related ISO and other leading industry standards)
• Data Governance: 2nd version of DAMA (DMBOK), ISO38505, ARMA and COBIT 
• Data Privacy: Mapping to ISO 27701, NIST, POPIA, and GDPR.
