IT Practice Transition & Data Support Specialist – JHB at Pro Talent

• An innovative financial services organisation is looking for a technically minded IT Practice Transition & Data Support Specialist to join its Head Office team.
• This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, technology, and process improvement while making a direct impact on the successful onboarding and integration of financial planning practices.
• In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the transition of client data into sophisticated CRM and digital platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for financial planners and their clients.
• You’ll play a key role in data migration, system integrations, process optimisation, training, and technical support, helping practices embrace digital solutions and operate more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding and migration of large client datasets into CRM and business systems.
• Cleanse, validate, transform, and prepare client data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Analyse data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities before implementation.
• Support digital client onboarding, electronic signatures, and automated communication processes.  
• Troubleshoot system and integration issues between adviser practices and clients.
• Provide training and support to financial planners and administrative teams across the country.
• Monitor project progress, reporting, and dashboard updates in line with service standards.
• Assist with the ongoing improvement of systems, digital workflows, and operational processes.

Requirements

• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification or certification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar IT, systems, data, or support role.
• Strong Excel and overall computer literacy.  
• Understanding of JSON payloads, configuration files, and system integrations.
• Ability to read and interpret existing JavaScript and C# code.
• Exposure to CRM systems and data migration projects would be advantageous.
• Experience within financial services or wealth management would be beneficial.
