    IT Service Delivery Technician

    • The role provides end-user IT and Infrastructure Support in Stonehage Fleming’s Cap Town Office.

    WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

    • Works within the IT Service Delivery Team and reports to the IT Service Delivery Manager.

    PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Ensures support for end-user issues on the Cap Town site.
    • End-user support may include IT systems and equipment such as servers, computers, Video Conferencing, security systems, copiers, scanners, printers, network cabling, and mobile devices.
    • Provide support for installation/upgrade of new/existing hardware, software, and systems.
    • Protect integrity of IT systems by minimizing the possibility of intentional damage and controlling access through agreed security systems and standards.
    • Participate in end-user training.
    • Monitor and maintain IT systems (troubleshooting).
    • Maintain IT validated documents and asset inventory.
    • Help ensure Group IT policy is adhered to.
    • Flexible approach to working hours (infrequently for specific events/on-call support).
    • Full-Time on-site support for the Cap Town Office Monday-Friday from 08:00 am

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Post school qualification or apprenticeship.
    • Relevant qualification or experience in IT.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Core Technologies: Windows server, Exchange, Active Directory, MS Office
    • Knowledge of E-Mail, communication and collaboration tools, video conferencing, and networking.
    • Technical competency with desktop hardware and configuration (Computers, printer/scanner/copier, mobile devices).

    COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS

    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, other languages are an advantage
    • Enthusiastic about IT Hardware and wider Technology Field
    • Ability to train users one-to-one and in groups.
    • Team player with strong adherence to risk culture.
    • Customer Service oriented.
    • Excellent interaction and communication skills, written and verbal.
