IT Support Services Engineer Level 1 at Derivco

The purpose of this role is to support, maintain and update existing and new operator environments and to act as a supporting mechanism for the respective product/feature.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deployment of configuration changes and development releases, and support thereof
• Providing a service to the software development teams
• Handling Escalations and System Support
• Managed Software Deployments
• Perform Testing
• Investigating and resolving or escalating events raised-Incident Management
• Capacity Management planning
• Development of Client Relationships
• Operator Engagement

Key Requirements:

• Cloud related and programming experience, advantageous:
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • CI/CD
  • Cloud Cost Management
  • Packaging (e.g. Containers)
  • Orchestration
• Microsoft SQL – essential
• Server hardware and configuration - Windows server
• IIS
• F5 Load Balancer (advantageous)
• Basic Powershell scripting
• Networking
• Monitoring technologies such as SCOM, Graphite, ELK
