    Java Software Engineer

    About the  Role:

    Mama Money is looking for a Java Developer . You will join a newly formed, highly skilled team of experienced developers working on our purpose-built remittance engine, in an Agile environment. This role is based in Cape Town, South Africa. 

    Our Tech Stack

    • Languages: Java
    • UI: Angular, JavaScript, Ionic, Firebase
    • Database: MariaDB
    • Hosting: AWS
    • Automation: Java with REST Assured, Appium
    • Tools: Jira, Confluence, Postman, Dbeaver, GIT

    Experience/Skills

    • At least 5 years’ experience programming in Java within a financial services environment
    • The ability to work collaboratively in an ever-changing environment

    Requirements

    • A BSc Computer Science, technical tertiary qualification or significant work experience
    • Experience working with microservice architecture
    • A basic understanding of Docker / Kubernetes
    • Experience developing for the cloud
