    Job Analyst

    Job Purpose    

    • To analyse jobs, in order to determine the key performance areas, the processes and outcomes of tasks within the job. To determine the person specifications of the job and to compile a descriptor of all the details of the job in its entirety.
    • This post reports to PRINCIPAL GRADING AND REMUNERATION ADVISOR

    Key Responsibility Areas    

    • Develops job profiles of all jobs within the eThekwini Municipality in order to compile job descriptions.
    • Co-ordinates and maintains the functioning of summarising the jobs within the Municipality into key performance areas for the purpose of advertising of posts.
    • Provides an advisory service to Line and Human Resources personnel with regards to the compilation of job descriptions, job specifications and reporting relationships.
    • Undertake profiling of job competencies in line with established frameworks.
    • Undertakes all administration relative to the function of Job Analysis.

    Essential Requirements    

    • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
    • Valid motor vehicle driving license
    • 2 Years relevant experience.
    • Computer Literacy

    Preferred Requirements    

    • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
    • 3 Years relevant experience.
