Job Summary

• Detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with extensive experience in revenue auditing, financial controls, and hotel accounting. Proven ability to ensure the accuracy and integrity of revenue through comprehensive reviews of daily General Cashier and Income Audit packs, monthly revenue reconciliations, and detailed variance analysis. Experienced in investigating discrepancies, resolving reconciliation issues, and ensuring all revenue transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies, accounting standards, and revenue recognition principles.
• Skilled in maintaining the integrity of Property Management System (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS), payment gateway, and General Ledger integrations to ensure seamless financial reporting and accurate revenue posting. Adept at reviewing and authorizing EFT refunds, verifying discounts, rebates, complimentary services, voids, and rate overrides to ensure appropriate approvals and compliance with internal controls.
• Strong background in conducting compliance audits, identifying control weaknesses, implementing process improvements, and supporting internal and external audit requirements. Experienced in reconciling balance sheet accounts, assisting with month-end financial close, and producing meaningful financial reports and revenue analyses that support informed business decisions. Recognized for exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to minimizing revenue leakage, strengthening financial controls, and improving operational efficiency in fast-paced hospitality environments.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in an accounting environment;
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy;
• Knowledge of hotel accounting principles and revenue auditing procedures;
• Understanding of PMS systems (e.g., Opera), POS systems, and accounting software;
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and maintain confidentiality; ·
• Deadline orientated.
