Junior Analyst - Ares - Cape Town at Ares Holdings

DATA ANALYSIS and QUALITY ASSURANCE

• Collect, validate, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Support Business Data and Reporting analyst in preparing reports and presentations based on data analysis.
• Assist the Business Data and Reporting analyst in identifying and resolving data discrepancies or anomalies
• Provide proactive insights into potential opportunities or risks based on data analysis.
• Assist in the development and execution of test plans to validate system changes.

COLLABORATION and CONSISTENCY

• Collaborate with both senior analysts and cross-functional teams, IT, finance, planning, and operations, to identify issues and gaps in systems and integrations
• Work closely with business users across the brands to understand their needs and provide technical  or data driven solutions.

PROCESS MAPPING and DOCUMENTATION

• Assist the Systems Analyst and Business Data and Reporting Analyst in documenting and mapping existing business processes using flowcharts or other visualization tools.
• Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and optimization.
• Assist the Systems Analyst and Business Data and Reporting Analyst in documenting, mapping and maintaining new or proposed business processes using flowcharts or other visualization tools.
• Assist the Systems Analyst and Business Data and Reporting Analyst in the creation of user guides and training manuals for business users.

PROJECT CO-ORDINATION

• Support project managers across the group in coordinating and tracking project activities.
• Help manage timelines, deliverables, and project documentation.
• Ensure stakeholders regularly update project progress on Monday.com
