Junior Baker at Puratos

POSITION OVERVIEW

Based at Bloemfontein, to further strengthen our local Sales team, we are currently seeking a Junior Baker reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Bake all products with excellence.
• Train customers bakers on our products.
• Present finished goods.
• Sleep away from home.
• Work with the Sales team to build and grow the business.
• Plan and execute daily and weekly bakery production.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Create new innovative products from existing products.
• Perform under pressure during shows, presentations, and store openings.
• Calculate costings at store level.
• Apply skills by putting recipes together using baker percentage.
• Baking and working closely with the sales team to reach sales target.

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12;
• Driver’s License;
• Experience: Minimum of 1 -2 years as a baker;
• Languages: English is a prerequisite; additional language(s) an advantage;
• Computer literacy: Office computer (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
• Other expertise: Business & result driven, strong presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, team player, creative, innovative.
