Junior BI Developer at Life Healthcare

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Development of Reports & Dashboards covering various function in the medical sector.
• Development of high quality database solutions
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures, functions & SSIS packages using T-SQL
• Contribute to the development and improvement of an Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Research required data
• Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Suggest new queries & processes
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
• Documenting & Handover of work completed
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
• 2+ years of experience as a SQL Developer
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Data-Science or Equivalent Certification/Experience
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
• Excellent understanding of Source Control (Git / TFS)
• PowerBI experience advantageous
• SQL Analysis Services experience advantageous
• Azure DevOps experience advantageous (Tasking, Pipelines etc.)
• Good Understanding of the EDW model
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Ability to work independently on end to end BI solutions & participate in knowledge sharing workshops

• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
