Job Description

• The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Job Requirements

• Minimum qualification of a National Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Diploma in Business Analysis or IIBA certification (Desirable)
• Data Governance certificate/course (Desirable)
• Certification in Data fundamentals and Data Science (Desirable)
• Knowledge of data integrity checking in the development life cycle
• Knowledge of AI concept and Data Science (Desirable)
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in:
• Data analysis & report development
• Experience in using Data visualisation tools
• Experience in writing T-SQL queries 
• Experience in using relational databases
• Experience in data warehousing star schema methodology
• Experience in requirement elicitation and documentation
• Experience in issue resolution
• Experience in data profiling

Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets, both structured and unstructured, to identify patterns and trends.
• Build and implement advanced models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights.
• Design and execute experiments to test and validate data-driven hypotheses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Develop efficient data processing pipelines to ensure timely and accurate analysis.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and agricultural technologies.
• Document and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Assist in the development of data-driven strategies for agricultural optimization.
• Ensure data security and privacy compliance throughout the analysis process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or R.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications.
• Familiarity with agricultural domains is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous learning.
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
