Junior Motion Designer (Midrand) at Mustek Limited

Responsibilities:

• Motion Design
• Develop dynamic motion and static graphics for promotional videos, advertisements, and digital campaigns to showcase Mustek and its partner brands.
• Design visually striking content for billboards, print ads, and mailers, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that resonate with our target audience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance the quality and innovation of our motion design projects.
• Assist in the creation of multimedia presentations, interactive displays, and other visual assets for events and trade shows.
• Work closely with external vendors and agencies to coordinate the production of marketing materials when necessary.
• Web Design and Development
• Design and develop visually appealing, responsive websites, HTML mailshots, Social Media ads and Web banners that align with company requirements and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize website layouts, interactive presentations, digital publications, user interfaces, and interactive elements.
• Utilize CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Wordpress and other web technologies and enhance user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and functionality of websites.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in web design and development to continually improve skills and techniques.
• Assist in website maintenance tasks, including updates, backups, and performance optimization.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and solicit feedback. 
• Contribute to the creation of design assets and multimedia content for websites, such as graphics, icons, and animations.

Qualification and Experience:

• Matric/Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma or equivalent in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Animation, or a related field (preferred).
• Recent graduate or possess 1-2 years of experience in motion design
• Proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong creative vision and ability to conceptualize ideas into engaging visual content.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion design projects, including promotional videos, advertisements etc.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Wordspress, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of web standards and best practices
• Experience with web design software such as Adobe XD, Dreamweaver or Figma for creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes preferred
• Portfolio showcasing previous web design and development projects, including websites, web apps, presentations, mailers etc. you've designed and/or developed
