Junior Programmer at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• Develop, test, analyse, and maintain old and new software application solutions to achieve and support business requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Essential: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a similar related ICT qualification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Essential: Minimum 3 years software development experience
• Desired: Experience working with Microsoft Technologies

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Develop systems for MCSA
• Maintain and monitor implemented systems for MCSA
• Test systems for MCSA
• Perform general administration and feedback duties within ICT
   

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Perform unit testing of programs to ensure the output meets business functional requirements
• Program maintenance, debugging problems and correcting coding errors.
• Coding languages (C#, Web Technologies, SQL)
• Develop software solutions using agreed software programming languages and frameworks
• Project management principles and methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
• Microsoft Technologies
• Manage the gathering, documentation and analysis of business requirements
• Design programs in accordance with agreed standards
• Software Development Life Cycle methodolgy
• Document Functional and Technical design specifications
