Junior Quality Assurance Officer - VKB Milling: Frankfort at VKB Group

Job Description

• The Junior Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for the effective implementation of the QA System within VKB Milling. Continuous evaluation of the system will be required.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF 4
• Certification/ proven understanding and knowledge of FSSC22000 standards
• Proven experience within a similar role
• Computer literate in the MS Office package

Duties and Responsibilities

• Continuous liaison with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure Food safety service and products.
• Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement such changes where releva
• Assist in the overall management of the Quality Assurance data base through KPI’s, reports, customer complaints and data management.
• Distribute and review all the relevant documentation and product specifications pertaining to Quality Assurance.                
• Audit and develop the company’s quality procedures ensuring the safety of all products manufactured.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and Food safety requirements as per standards and procedures.                              
• Manage, review and update VKB Flour Mill’s Non-conformance process to ensure timeous and effective resolution.
• Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery and based on findings, accept or reject relevant products and procedures.
• Train and monitor all relevant staff on Food Safety and SQF standards.
• Ensure that the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
