Junior Sales Specialist – Intern at Rheinmetall Denel Munition

Identification and development of Sales opportunities

• Learning and understanding RDM product portfolio, Defence Systems & Global Defence Industry.
• Pre-empt requirements through market research and Stakeholder engagement.

Identify and develop business opportunities

• Prepare and plan various capture plans with Senior Sales Managers enabling business development.
• Understand competitive landscape through competitor analysis and research papers.

Internal stakeholder liaising

• Coordinate and align actions with Sales Managers and Management team.
• Liaise with internal role players, collate relevant inputs and establish an executable solution.

Customer relationship management

• Ensure regular and effective communication as required with Global partners and Customers.
• Plan and support customer events with internal team as required.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Marketing or Business Management relevant qualification.
• Knowledge about the Security, Defence & Technology industry will be an advantage
• A professional appearance and ability to do presentations in English
• Ability to work in high pressure environments with clear deadlines
• Hardworking and energetic personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fully computer literate and skilled with all MS office packages
• Ability to travel Regional, National and International
• Valid Driver's license
