Job Overview

Become a vital and high contributing team member developing high quality software for distributed systems within the telecommunications domain. Obsess over solving the customers’ problems and delivering just the right product while taking full end-to-end ownership of all implemented features.

Work within a small core team while interfacing with numerous larger groups to develop Java software for a service-based architecture in a continuous integration environment. Our systems are used by hundreds of expert operators, analysts and should be able to run unattended.

Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with telecoms or software related subjects or research.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree (MScEng. or MEng.) with Computer Science, telecoms or software related subjects or research.

Experience / knowledge:

• Experience in a strongly typed programming language, preferably Java
• Min 1-2 years’ experience as a software developer
• Passionate about research-based software development
• Willingness to gain in-depth functional knowledge of telecommunication technologies, procedures and protocols
• Driven to solve tough problems in innovative ways
• Critical thinker and detailed-oriented
• Excellent communicator
• Self-starter and self-motivated
