    Key Account Advisor

    Job Title: Key Account Advisor

    Location: Pretoria, South Africa

    Salary: up to R33, 000 depending on experience

    Hours: 40 hours per week

    Purpose Of Position

    To deliver a dedicated & pro-active service to Key Account Customers, BSI Internal Customers and any other BSI External Customers. The key account definition also includes clients identified as Global and International clients and may also require supporting other BSI hubs with local (SA) activities

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • To undertake the on-boarding of new Key Account Customers
    • To act as central customer service contact for nominated Key Accounts to ensure effective client support and administration in relation to planning, scheduling as per the clients annual assessment cycle in alignment with BSI procedure
    • To maintain accurate and up to date data on the applicable IT platform/s for each account that ensures that all required information and documentation is available.
    • To ensure effective account support to maintain excellent service
    • Follow documented procedures for the development and presentation of quotations
    • To identify, resource, book and maintain the delivery of all assessment work to utilising the dedicated and competent assessment team and ensure cost effective delivery.
    • To keep the Business Development Executive and Key Account Client Manager/Key Account Assessor updated on all applicable customer needs and changes
    • To prepare and attend monthly/quarterly/bi annual meetings as per the Customer Visit Plan
    • To respond to customer survey feedback as required maintaining customer satisfaction whilst ensuring the

    Key Account Client Manager is advised.

    • Identify and address Customer satisfaction issues
    • Address potential customer attrition with Operations Manager and Key Account Client Manager/Key Account Assessor
    • To effectively review and actions and requests to ensure these actions are undertaken in a timely manner, including processing of associated actions
    • Produce and submit all weekly and monthly reports, expense sheets etc
    • To accurately process certificate issues
       

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    • Ability to interact at different management levels of a client’s organisation either verbally, in writing or in person to maintain a strong customer focus
    • Ability to undertake basic finance tasks to ensure cost effective use of resource to ensure profitability is achieved
    • Ability to undertake to sales administration processes to ensure timely and accurate loading of new clients / applications.
    • Ability to undertake all certification administration processes to ensure timely and accurate issue of certificates
    • A good understanding of South Africa geography to ensure cost effective work planning.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
    • To be computer literate and have experience of using Microsoft Office and computer systems.
