    Key Accounts Manager

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • The goals of this position relates to the sales of Currency Technology Solutions and Services within the business region. The incumbent will be responsible for turnover,sales and account management activities within the assigned accounts or regions within Southern Africa. Internally they would be responsible for accurate reporting of sales, sales forecasts and customer requirements. This position will require extensive travelling local & cross border.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSPONSIBILITIES):

    • Present and sell company related Products, Solutions and Value Added Software Solutions to current and potential customers to meet set targets. This includes creating and maintaining strong and firm relationships. To attend to the customer during the complete business cycle including after sales activities and relationship preservation.
    • Prepare account management plans and strategic actions for key customers
    • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. Develop product and market knowledge.
    • Maintain close working relationships with all departments to ensure revenue growth
    • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
    • Prepare a variety of status reports: including activity, customer, CRM, monthly and budget reports

    MINIMUM ACCADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BCom / N Dip in Sales and Marketing. Business Management

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 5-7 years market related experience in sales
    • Experience in similar industry
    • Ability to close off deals
    • Negotiation skills

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Must be professional with internal & external customers at all times and able to negotiate with high ranking public and private personnel.
    • Must be able to provide input to team leaders to make decisions- must show leadership qualities.
    • Must be able to handle a pressured environment.
    • Must be able to work well within a team setup, but also have individual initiative, responsibility and determination.
    • Must be able to find solutions to obstacles
    • Must be a forward thinker and have the ability to ensure that the company is not placed at risk when formulating proposals.
