Barko is seeking to recruit a competent, dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated candidate for the position of Labour Relations Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing administrative support in the day-to-day operations of the labour relations function.
• Schedule or coordinate the details of grievance hearings or other meetings.
• Prepare evidence for disciplinary hearings.
• Assist in preparing reports or forms related to labor relations matters.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Labour Relations or related fields.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a labor-intensive environment.
• An understanding of and insight into the BCEA, LRA, OHS, EE with SD being an advantage.
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance as it relates to HR.
• Strong English language and administrative skills.
• Attention to detail with an ability to spot spelling errors.
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be passionate about his/her work.
• Excellent people skills with a great attitude.
• Motivated, Trustworthy, Reliable, Hard Working, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
