Degree/ National Diploma in Labour Relations or Human Resource Management
Coupled with a minimum of 2- 3 years practical experience in Industrial Relations/Human Resource Management/Labour Relations environment
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the job may be considered during the selection process.
Essential criteria:
Knowledgeable in Labour Legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA & other Relevant Legislations).
Proficiency in MS Office Packages
Driver's license is an essential

Key Performance Areas:
Provide administrative support to the Labour relation unit
Compile statistics and reports and conduct all related functions
Co-ordinate and collate grievances
Handle internal discipline and disciplinary cases
Processing and implement the outcomes of disciplinary hearings
Assist the Provincial Offices with any other instructed duties
Assist in preparation of meetings and documents as when they are required, Including booking venue and reserving petty cash
Schedule disciplinary hearings nationally. Ensure that dates and times are confirmed, all parties are informed and prepare witnesses
Preparation for disciplinary and grievance hearings
Prepare bundles for disciplinary hearing or grievance matters
Ensure the correct completion of all Labour Relations documentation
Organise logistics related to all CCMA matters, including following up with CCMA administrators regarding case preparation, dates, times, and creating calendar meetings, amongst other responsibilities
Liaise with Industrial/labour relation service provider for all documentation relating to disciplinary matters
Follow up on hearing notices and outcomes with Labour Relation/Industrial relation service provider and the relevant managers
Update Labour Relation spreadsheets and ensuring that information is accurate
