    Labour Relations Administrator

    Requirements: 

    • Degree/ National Diploma in Labour Relations or Human Resource Management 
    • Coupled with a minimum of 2- 3 years practical experience in Industrial Relations/Human Resource Management/Labour Relations environment 
    • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the job may be considered during the selection process. 

    Essential criteria: 

    • Knowledgeable in Labour Legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA & other Relevant Legislations). 
    • Proficiency in MS Office Packages 
    • Driver's license is an essential 
    • Code of good conduct 
    • Grievance procedures 
    • Conflict resolution 
    • Computer literacy reconciliation 
    • Knowledge of mediation and arbitration procedures 
    • Communication and interpersonal relation 
    • Good report writing and communication skills (written and verbal).

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • Provide administrative support to the Labour relation unit 
    • Compile statistics and reports and conduct all related functions 
    • Co-ordinate and collate grievances 
    • Handle internal discipline and disciplinary cases 
    • Processing and implement the outcomes of disciplinary hearings 
    • Assist the Provincial Offices with any other instructed duties 
    • Assist in preparation of meetings and documents as when they are required, Including booking venue and reserving petty cash 
    • Schedule disciplinary hearings nationally. Ensure that dates and times are confirmed, all parties are informed and prepare witnesses
    • Preparation for disciplinary and grievance hearings 
    • Prepare bundles for disciplinary hearing or grievance matters 
    • Ensure the correct completion of all Labour Relations documentation 
    • Organise logistics related to all CCMA matters, including following up with CCMA administrators regarding case preparation, dates, times, and creating calendar meetings, amongst other responsibilities 
    • Liaise with Industrial/labour relation service provider for all documentation relating to disciplinary matters 
    • Follow up on hearing notices and outcomes with Labour Relation/Industrial relation service provider and the relevant managers 
    • Update Labour Relation spreadsheets and ensuring that information is accurate 
    • Ordering stationery for Labour Relation Unit 
    • Workshop Policies and Policy development.

    Officer: Performance Management & Evaluation

    Requirements: 

    • Degree/National Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent 
    • coupled with at least a minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, performance monitoring, and evaluation environment 
    • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and relevant on-the-job experience may be taken into consideration during the selection process. 

    Essential criteria: 

    • Skills in planning methodology 
    • strategic management project management problem-solving, and analytical skills 
    • Presentation, training, facilitation, and report writing skills 
    • Knowledge of relevant and applicable Legislations, Regulations, and DPME & National Treasury Frameworks and guidelines. 

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • Facilitate planning in the Authority by organising strategic planning sessions according to the planning cycle 
    • Facilitate the preparation of the Strategic Plan (SP) and the annual performance plan for approval by the relevant executive authority 
    • Compilation and preparation of the Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan (APP) linked to the MTEF cycle 
    • Compile the Annual Operation Plan in consultation with the different programmes for the EXCO’s approval
    • Review the Performance indicators by different stakeholders and suggest necessary changes
    • Assist in the development of the M&E system to analyse, report and use performance information 
    • To effectively lead and implement the M&E system focused on data collection, analysis and reporting of results
    • Engage internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and coordinate the implementation of results pertaining to planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
    • Development of the performance information Policy and Standard Operation Procedures and monitoring the implementation
    • Compilation of the entity’s quarterly and annual performance information report in terms of the PFMA and Treasury regulatory requirements 
    • Compilation of the Authority’s Mid-Term and End-Term assessment report in terms of the DPME reporting guideline 
    • Monitor and evaluate performance information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and suggest measures to improve the monitoring system 
    • Assist in the audit of the performance information, quarterly and annual.
