Key Responsibility Areas

• Provides a proactive law enforcement support service through patrolling and controlling access to facilities.
• Arrests and assists Senior Law Enforcement Officer/SAPS in the apprehension of suspects.
• Assist with special projects from time to time.
• Provides law enforcement back up for Parks, Leisure and Cemeteries facilities and staff.
• Performing administrative functions
• Ensures the health, safety and security of staff and the general public.
• Maintains current working knowledge in the field of law enforcement.

Essential Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and a Law Enforcement certificate or any other related and equivalent certificate.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• Valid motorcycle driving learners (Code A).
• Valid motorcycle driving license (Code A) or be able to obtain one within 9 months from date of appointment.
• Valid South African Police Service clearance certificate.
• 2 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy

Preferred Requirements

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Law Enforcement or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code C1).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Valid Firearm Competency certificate.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• 3 Years relevant experience.
