Ensuring technical solutions can be used across the LCR offering portfolio as far as is possible, managing the technical specification of product assigned and supporting the Product Manager in developing the business case for LCR developments, maintenance and cost reduction
Supporting the LCR offering development process from project specification to product launch, assisting sales and marketing teams in the launch and selling of new LCR systems, collaborating to define marketing plans to promote sales activities
Collaborating with internal teams (i.e., manufacturing, quality, engineering, research & development, supply chain and logistics) for ensuring customer satisfaction and assisting with resolution of customer offering issues
Delivering new LCR training to internal teams and customers, preparing price lists for review and approval and delivering customer quotations, proposing new LCR development or service enhancements to offer suitable and unique solutions to customer needs
Contributing to the definition of new service technical characteristics by providing specific expertise, staying abreast of the state of the art in own product vs competition as well as relevant technologies, leveraging proficiency in own technical area to contribute innovative and creative ideas to the product
Applying the relevant processes, standards, guidelines and tools in evolving the product, completing risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility, reporting any contract/quality/program/cost issues to management along with recommendations for resolution
Assisting customers on technical issues, interacting with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables, assisting communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings, advising on equipment selection for projects in line with customer and statutory requirements
Collaborating with the supply chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers, providing technical evaluation of supplier proposals and accepts as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services, working with SCM and suppliers to optimize cost
Your background
Bachelor’s Degree in 4 years Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HPR Applications
Knowledge of electrical theory and systems in HPR, knowledge of LCR (Low Current Rectifier) portfolio will be of advantage
Good design skills and problem-solving abilities and commitment to excellence and professional attitude
