    Lead: Cloud Services

    Job Description    

    • Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Lead: Cloud Services , to join the Enabling Technology team at CCBA. The role will report to the Group Head: Technology Enablement.

    Key Purpose:

    • To provide strategic and operational ownership of enterprise cloud services, ensuring secure, reliable, resilient and cost-effective cloud platforms while driving service governance, FinOps, automation, transformation enablement and consistent operational maturity.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outputs and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:

    • Stable & Resilient Cloud Services: Ensure secure, reliable and high-performing cloud services that support business continuity, operational effectiveness and digital platforms.
    • Cloud Operational Excellence: Drive effective cloud operations through proactive monitoring, service management discipline, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
    • Cloud Governance & Service Ownership: Establish strong cloud governance, accountability, service ownership models and operational standards to improve control and consistency.
    • Cloud Cost Optimisation: Improve cloud financial management through effective cost monitoring, optimisation initiatives, forecasting and value realisation.
    • Cloud Transformation Enablement: Enable business modernisation and digitisation by delivering scalable cloud capabilities and supporting the transition of new services into operational support.
    • Vendor & Service Performance: Strengthen cloud provider governance, SLA performance, supplier accountability and service improvement outcomes.
    • Security & Operational Resilience: Maintain secure cloud environments through effective risk management, compliance controls, disaster recovery readiness and resilience practices.
    • Standardised Cloud Operations: Drive consistent cloud operational practices, service maturity and delivery standards across countries and functions

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
    • Postgraduate qualification advantageous.

    Experience:

    • 8–12 years’ experience in infrastructure, cloud services, platforms or enterprise technology operations.
    • Experience owning cloud services and operational delivery.
    • Experience managing cloud operations within complex enterprise environments.
    • Experience managing strategic technology vendors and managed service providers.
    • Experience supporting multi-country or large-scale operational environments.

    Skills:

    • Cloud platforms and operations (Azure / AWS / GCP)
    • Cloud service management and governance
    • Cloud monitoring, performance management and optimisation
    • Hybrid cloud infrastructure
    • Cloud security and compliance principles
    • Disaster recovery and business continuity
    • IT service management practices
    • Vendor and SLA management
    • Cloud cost management (FinOps)
