Lead Product Designer at Ignition Group

Key roles and responsibilities:

Design System Management:

• Oversee and maintain the Spot Money mobile app design system to meet industry standards.

User Experience Design:

• Craft design solutions by visualizing ideas through user flows, journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping to gather valuable feedback and insights from stakeholders.

Usability Testing:

• Plan and execute usability tests to validate design decisions and pinpoint usability issues.

User Interface Design:

• Create high-fidelity screens to bring design solutions to life.

Solution Validation:

• Collaborate with the technical team and stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with technical feasibility and business requirements.

Design Handover:

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent design screens and production-ready assets through an up-to-date central library for reference by both stakeholders and technical teams.

Quality Assurance:

• Partner with the technical team during development to guarantee that designs meet the expected outcomes.

User Feedback and Optimization:

• Continuously gather insights and user feedback to optimize Spot Money app features for optimal usability.

Requirements

Education and training:

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• BA Design or Visual Arts Degree.
• Degree or certificate in Digital Design or User Experience Design.

Experience:

• 5-7 years working in UX/UI Design.
• Proven track record in designing customer-facing mobile and web products
