The Job

• Triggerise is growing really fast and we need you to make sure that new people learn what they need to learn but also to enable the organisation, managers and individuals to develop the skills we will need to grow even further. You will train and manage the Learning & Development Officer and together you have a chance to shape this department.

This is what we’ll ask you to do: 

• Design, build and execute an onboarding programme that can be tailored to different roles. At the end of this programme new people have the practical skills and knowledge they need, but more importantly, they are part of our culture and team. 
• Build and execute a management training programme that ensures that all our managers lead their teams effectively and in line with our vision of independent, capable employees and teams. 
• Support managers and employees with individual career development paths. 
• Organise and execute ad hoc organisational training needs
• Measure your impact and report on it

About You

• You know how people learn things and can turn your knowledge into practical training programmes. You are passionate about seeing people grow and learn. You are creative, independent and have a vision on how this should be done. At the same time, you don’t mind getting your hands dirty when we need to design or give our own training.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administrations, Organisational Psychology or related field or equivalent working experience
• 5 years in a similar role
• You have significant experience designing online and in person training
• It’s a big plus if you have built an organisation learning programme before
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

The Rewards

• At Triggerise we believe in being open, also when it comes to salaries. The salary brackets for this position, excluding benefits, are Br 47 200 - Br 70 800 per month in Ethiopia, KSH 230 000 - KSH 350 000 in Kenya, €2 200 - €3 300 in Portugal and  R41 300 - R62 000 in South Africa, We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
