    Learning and Development Specialist

    • Ensure that Santam remains accredited with the current accreditation bodies (INSETA/QCTO).
    • Apply and register to the newly appointed accredited and statutory bodies as initiated by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET/QCTO)
    • Maintain Santam and staff corporate membership with the professional bodies (annual fees – registration and subscription)
    • Management of accreditation for all of our Skills Programmes
    • Implementation and maintenance of Fit and Proper requirements as stated on FAIS Act, BN 194 of 2017
    • Alignment of training material and training policies with statutory and regulatory bodies (INSETA/QCTO)
    • Upskill and empower Accreditation Team, Internal Constituent Assessors and Facilitators/Consultants
    • Procure external providers and INSETA constituent assessors/moderators in support of our accreditation, CPD and RPL processes.
    • Spearhead scheduled INSETA verifications – conduct and manage.
    • Team Budget Management (incl. variance reports)
    • Team Resource Management and Talent Management
    • Strategy implementation per area of responsibility
    • Management of various reports e.g. Rep Reg, CPD Hours, Accreditation, etc.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Education, Training and Development Practitioner Qualification or NQF level 6 qualification preferable in Education.
    •  Insurance related qualification (IISA, FPI, etc).
    • Registered constituent INSETA assessor with full NQF4 scope
    • RE Exam 1 & 5
    • Minimum 5yrs experience in conducting INSETA verification
    • Min 5yrs Short Term Insurance experience
    • 3-5yrs leadership experience
