Learning Programme Coordinator – AHC Nursing College
A vacancy exists for a Learning Programme Coordinator reporting to the AHC Principal. The successful candidate will oversee various programmes and projects as well as plan and execute education programmes, enhancing student experiences and managing programme logistics.
Critical Outputs
Programme Coordination
Program Scheduling and Coordination with a diverse group of stakeholders, including internal and external trainers, facilitators, and subject matter experts.
Communication and Stakeholder Management providing clear and timely information about upcoming learning opportunities to participants, fostering a positive learning environment
Resource Management which includes overseeing training materials, digital content, equipment, Learning Management System and Student Information Management System.
Tracking and Reporting on attendance, participation, and completion rates, providing valuable insights into program engagement.
Vendor and Partner Coordination liaising with external training providers, arranging for consultancy services, and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
Compliance and Documentation ensuring compliance with organisational policies and industry regulations
Theoretical and Clinical teaching monitoring of learning activities and achieving learning programme outcomes
Moderation of formative and summative assessments to ensure compliance with assessment practices and procedures
Quality improvement initiatives aligned to regulatory requirements
Requirements
Professional Nurse registered with SANC
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher qualification
Post basic qualification (i.e. Diploma/Degree) in Nursing Education.
Post basic qualification (i.e. Diploma/Degree) in Nursing Administration/Management.
Post basic qualification in Clinical Nursing Specialisation
Minimum of 3 (three) years of appropriate/recognised nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse
At least 3 (three) years of appropriate experience in Nursing Education after obtaining a post-basic qualification
Proof of registration with SANC for Assessor and Moderator BLS instructor certificate an advantage
Experience in mentoring specific groups of students and staff
Knowledge of all relevant legislation about the management of a Nursing Education Institution
A valid driver’s license
