Lecturer: Financial Management 2 (Part Time) at Vega School

Preferred Education:

​Ideal:

• Honours in Finance/Financial Management/Accounting & with Finance/Financial Management/Accounting 1st - 3rd year in undergraduate.

Alternatively:

• Honours in one of the Business related fields (e.g. investment/banking, entrepreneurship, risk or project management) – with undergraduate degree with Finance/Financial Management/Accounting 1st - 3rd year

OR

• Degree with Finance/Financial Management/Accounting or a similarly related field (e.g. investment/banking, entrepreneurship, risk, business or business management) to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.

Work Experience

• Lecturing experience in accounting/financial management or risk management or asset management and can apply their lecturing to a marketing or brand management environment.
• Work experience as an accountant, financial manager/advisor or asset/risk manager (within a marketing organisation preferred)

Key Performance Areas:

• Preparation and lecturing as per the Module Guide
• Teaching curriculum outcomes as per contract hours and stipulated per pre agreed timetable
• Briefing students for assignments and providing feedback in a timeous manner
• Presenting class marks and feedback to the MODULE DISCIPLINE LEADER and discuss appropriate interventions for improved student success
• Actively engaging with current trends in teaching and learning strategies within The IIE VEGA environment.
