Licensing Consultant (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract) at Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO)

• The purpose of this role is to grow revenue through licensing music users in a call centre environment.
• The objective is to ensure compliance and that unauthorised music users are contacted and licensed successfully. 
• The ideal candidate must have successfully completed matric and have at least three year’s working experience in telesales/cold calling.

• Researcher leads conversion

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Knowledge and experience of sales techniques (influencing, negotiating and prospecting)
• Three years telesales / cold calling in a call centre environment experience
• Collective Management Organisation related experience would be beneficial
• Advanced computer skills, including Word & Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Sound understanding of pricing/discounting concepts will be an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High level of numeracy
• Accuracy and attention to detail is an essential requirement
