Job Advert Summary    

• Clover Kuruman Distribution Branch is currently seeking a suitably qualified and motivated Load Controller to join the team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate receiving, checking, dispatching and labelling of stock, as well as maintaining proper housekeeping standards within the dispatch area.

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• 1- 3 years of experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level - Knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Business English: Fluent
• Working in extreme conditions
• Location in Kuruman - advantageous 
• Work shifts/Weekend/Public Holidays

Duties and Responsibilities    
Pick stock        

• Receive pallet manifest from WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Check picked stock against a pallet manifest        
• Report any discrepancies to Team Leader and rectify picking discrepancies
• Good product knowledge        
• Count crates and pallets        
• Load control sheet to be completed with product temperature        

Label stock        

• Ensure that General Workers have recorded correct route number on applicable stock        
• Correct errors where necessary        

Ensure that stock is loaded correctly

• Ensure that General Workers load stock onto correct vehicle as per load plan
• Ensure that loaded stock is anchored and wrapped correctly to prevent damages        
• Follow correct loading procedure with loading of stock        

Ensure security of load        

• Ensure doors of the truck are closed properly after loading        
• Co-signs security register once loading is complete in presence of Security Officer        

Ensure proper housekeeping        

• Keep the work area/allocated area clean and safe        
• Report any unsafe conditions         
• Assist with daily, weekly, monthly stock counts
