Logistic Clerk at Ivanhoe Mines

Experience required:

• Minimum Qualification National Senior Certificate (matric) relevant qualification advantageous
• A proven track record of success.
• Overborder Road Freight knowledge is essential with knowledge of Commodity Movements being an advantage.
• Knowledge of truck sizes and load capacity
• Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily logistics operations 

• Check and validate the pre-advice of all trucks being captured onto the Software System. 
• Monitor the arrivals per LSP, ensuring that the LSP split there allocation equally throughout the month.

Data Validation, Documentation Control and Administration

• Assist the mines reception team to validate the truck data for final registration 
• Distribution of Documentation to relevant Stakeholders
• Ensure LSP's provide all documentation required into the Software System. 

Communication

• Provide guidance to all Logistics Service providers on any failings and ensure they understand the importance of timeous data accuracy.
• Foster a collaborative and cooperative tam culture.
• Capture all Comments inserted under the "Diary of Events" ensuring clear understanding for all stakeholders in event of queries being raised.
