Planning and scheduling all maintenance activities across plant machinery, utilities (including ammonia plant, compressors, boilers, and generators), and facilities
Coordinating planned shutdowns, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules to minimize production disruptions
Collaborating with the production team to align maintenance activities with operational priorities and production plans
Managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and coordinating with external contractors and vendors
Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, OHASA (Occupational Health and Safety Act), and other statutory requirements
Ensuring all maintenance activities meet safety, quality, and legal compliance standards, especially in high-risk areas such as ammonia handling and pressure vessels
Developing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime
Monitoring and controlling the maintenance budget, including cost tracking, spares procurement, and contractor spend
Overseeing stores inventory, ensuring critical spares and consumables are available and stock levels are optimized
Utilizing Shopware CMMS for digital maintenance management, including work order generation, job tracking, asset history, and KPI monitoring
Training production teams and artisans on the effective use of CMMS for logging breakdowns, requesting jobs, and tracking progress
Generating and presenting weekly and monthly maintenance reports, including performance metrics, backlog analysis, and reliability trends
Supporting internal and external audits, compliance inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., MTTR, MTBF, OEE)
Leading or participating in root cause analysis (RCA), asset care strategies, and reliability- focused maintenance planning
