    Manager: Business Intelligence and Process Automation

    Strategic leadership and planning

    • Engage with business leaders and functional team to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and infrastructure can improve efficiencies and add value. Balance these proposals against what’s technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable
    • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
    • Drive cross-functional projects that involve multiple teams within Africa Data Centres
    • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies

    Reporting and business process automation

    • Enhance and streamline reporting processes through automation, ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and impactful reports.
    • Develop a reporting framework that supports strategic decision-making and provides insights into key performance indicators and business metrics.
    • Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant changes.
    • Reports on analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business
    • Identify opportunities for automation across business processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Implement and manage automation tools and software, overseeing the migration from manual to automated processes.
    • Champion the adoption of AI and machine learning technologies for predictive analytics and decision support.

    Effective teamwork and self-management and stakeholder management

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships and trust with all internal functional teams, as well as relevant external stakeholders.
    • Follows through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.
    • Develop flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organisational needs.

    Requirements

    Formal Qualifications Required

    • National Diploma in Business/Finance Management/Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Informatics or equivalent

    Job Related Experience Required

    • Minimum 10 years Analytical work experience
    • Advantageous 1-3 years in the ICT/Telco sector experience
    • Minimum 5 Years Relationship management experience and dealing with team members at all levels is a requirement
    • Minimum 3 years Strong Excel experience and relevant technical/systems/CRM understanding.
