    Manager, Business Lead

    Nature And Scope

    Manager, Business Lead, supports the growth objectives of IQVIA CSMS (Contract Sales and Medical Solutions) business unit. The position will be responsible for the identification of new business opportunities within the business scope; execution of business agreements; to facilitate the achievement of the organization’s current and future objectives and financial targets. This position will work extensively with multidisciplinary internal and external teams, establishes and manages relationships with existing and/or potential partners, create and deliver presentations and reports to CSMS Manager and key decision-makers, and helps drive business expansion opportunities within the broader African geography. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, collaborative, ambitious, and a creative team player.

    Business Expansion And Sales

    • Use healthcare and commercial knowledge to identify and/or develop new customer base, territories and products
    • Initiate sales opportunities with associated pricing and costing models and strategies
    • Generate sales and coordinate the required RFP processes
    • Securing sufficiently large deals for business sustainability
    • Track industry trends and competitor offerings
    • Negotiate complex, competitive contractual relationships in support of business strategies.

    Customer Service

    • On-board new customers
    • Negotiate contractual terms and conditions and support the development and implementation of standard and/or value-based contract relationships in support of business strategies.
    • Engage with customers to support positive customer engagements, resolve queries, concerns and complaints, liaising with operations and related functions as required
    • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment in offerings, customer concerns and requirements
    • Identify opportunities for growth, continuous improvement and future sales within customer base

    Operational Support

    • Support the RFP process by gathering and coordinating costings, proposals, contracting process and timelines
    • Drive contract development by collaborating with legal and other stakeholders
