    Manager Development Facilitator (X1 Post)

    Salary:  (R 836 881.90) Per annum

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Incumbent must have a Grade 12; Relevant tertiary qualification in Development studies/Public Administration (NQF level 7), 3-4 Years relevant social development experience, and a valid driving licence.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES

    • Preparing a Community Participation Plan encapsulating specific activities and forwarding it to the immediate superior and the Local Municipality for perusal and comment.
    • Checking and commenting on the adequacy of budgetary provisions to support social upliftment and development plans and programmes, and/or monitoring expenditure and payments to service providers.
    • Establishing the adequacy and availability of personnel against agreed outcomes and motivating the immediate superior for additional resources.
    • Participating in the induction programme and providing on-the-job training for new recruits to the department.
    • Defining skill gap, training needs and activating procedural sequences aimed at developing and capacitating individuals.
    • Encouraging the formation of Forums and Committees to promote engagement and discussion on community priorities and concerns.
    • Participating in various meetings (internal and external forums) and providing comments/opinions on matters affecting or concerning deliverables.
    • Organising events and programmes in accordance with budget allocations, interacting with service providers and community organisers on specific requirements.
    • Analysing statistical information pertaining to staff attendance, overtime, leave and addressing deviations or occurrences of abuse and/or workplace conflict through the implementation of corrective measures in accordance with Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
