4 years' experience in budget, accounting, forecasting and resource allocation in a large, devolved organisation, preferably within the local government sector
Core Responsibilities:
Manage the BRT expenditure division
Manage the different functions of the division and provide uniform goal and objective
Contribute to the development of the governance strategy and the risk management plan
Oversee administrative management of the management accounting unit to ensure all administrative processes are executed within time, cost and quality standards
Manage and delegate tasks to subordinates in accordance with needs to ensure productivity
Provide guidance with regard to planning of appointed projects or tasks and the approach to investigations
Manage accurate recording of information regarding expenditure activities
Plan, organise and co-ordinate the workflow and manage activities of the revenue division
Monitor and analyse the expenditure budget through periodical financial reports.
Compile reports on all divisional activities and submit to the Senior Manager Financial accounting.
