Job Purpose    

• Provides a specialised service to all vehicle assets within the Municipality.

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Provides a specialised customer centred service.
• Conducts fleet management, disposal and replacement.
• Oversee accident investigations.
• Manages all aspects relating to vehicle administration.
• Organises and makes provision for all logistics requirements.
• Controls outcomes associated with utilisation and performance of personnel within the function.
• Manages the procedural administrative and reporting requirements/ deadlines associated with functionality.
• Disseminates functional and operational information on the immediate, short and long term objectives and current applications and constraints.
• Planning and preparing capital and operating estimates and controlling expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
• Manages the administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators.

Essential Requirements    

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Road Transportation.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 6 Years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements    

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Road Transportation.
• 8 Years relevant experience.
