Our Company is expanding and needing to fill the following vacancy, Investigation (SIU) Manager. If you have experience as an Investigation Manager, then this is a great opportunity for you.
Oversee and or conduct investigations on all assigned claims by means considered reasonably necessary and approved by Divisional Management.
Conduct or assign an investigator to attend to in loco investigations on assigned claims when found necessary by means considered reasonably necessary and approved by Divisional Management.
Assist in the management, coordination and facilitation of day-to-day functions and processes within the Investigations Department.
Assist in strategic planning to elevate the accuracy and quality of investigations by means considered reasonably necessary and approved by Divisional Management.
Assist in the overseeing of particular the investigation strategies as implemented from time to time.
Conduct and manage strategic meetings with the Investigations Team on daily basis.
Manage workflow as operationally required or instructed by Management.
Liaise with key role-players across claims and claims support departments in order to proactively manage workflow.
Manage and audit tasks of Investigations Team on a daily basis.
Assist in providing such assistance and direction to departmental staff on operational issues and technical issues, when required from time to time.
Assist in ensuring that departmental staff keeps informed, trained and coached on new processes and best practices.
If and when required action responsibilities of the Investigations Assistant Manager/Team leader in his/her absence.
Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to-time on an ad hoc basis.
Accurate record keeping on claims management vide Daily Claims Management Sheet. Provide feedback to investigation Manager on activities/performance before end of workday.
Providing Divisional Management with monthly and interim reports as may be required from time to time.
Requirements
Matric or equivalent qualification
8-10 Years of relevant experience with 3 -5 years Management Experience
Investigation or similar qualifications will be advantageous
Proven record in managing staff (preferably at least 10).
