    Manager: Learning and Development - Techonology

    Role Purpose

    The Manager: Learning and Development - Technology role based within HR Business Unit.
    The role of the Manager: Learning and Development (TECHNOLOGY) is to build sustainable, strategic capabilities to support the delivery of the Vodacom Group (Including International Business) strategy & priorities, whilst ensuring the engagement and commitment of all senior stakeholders is achieved. Define, lead and deliver on critical capability work streams aligned to Vodacom Group capability strategy and priorities, and provide expertise to key business areas and stakeholders. Ensure key capabilities are embedded, with clear return on investment.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • To manage the team in delivering the “best in class Learning and development function (analyse, design, develop, provide solutions)
    • Define, design and ensure the delivery of critical capability (per BU) priorities aligned to the Vodacom and BU strategy
    • To source and manage external suppliers, where necessary, including SLA’s.
    • To provide monthly data on the Learning and Development function per Business Unit
    • Ensure significant ROI for all capability programmes within business area
    • Responsible for the roll out of agreed programs, aligned to WSP and BBBEE score card within the budget allocated to the BU for training


    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • 3-5 Years experience within the Technology environment including at least 3-4 years in L&D and training


    Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • Relevant 3 year degree / diploma essential


    At Least 2-3 Years People Management Experience Essential

    • People management
