Qualifications and experience required:

• A relevant three-year tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma or B Degree.
• Eight years or more relevant experience of which two years must be at supervisory level.
• Computer literacy – MS Office. 

Job purpose:

• Managing and controlling the key performance areas of an efficient Administrative Management for the Infrastructure and Engineering Business Unit through strategically planning, drafting, maintaining, analysing and facilitating the implementation of policies, procedures, systems and controls guiding critical interventions, applications and outcomes, providing advice and support with respect to specific functional requirements, and controlling the operational dimensions related to Customer Services, Management Services (Skills Development and Employment Equity, Asset Control, Risk Management and Occupational Health and Safety), Administrative Support (Financial Administrative), and GIS and Computer Services (GIS and Information Technology), and ensuring the departmental priorities are adequately addressed and attended to, and key functional areas are aligned towards sustaining and improving the efficiencies of Management Services processes.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
