Manager: Metered Services at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• B.Com. degree or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6).
• Ability to interpret financial and technical reports (essential).
• Five to seven years’ experience within metered services and/or Revenue Management and Customer Care environment.

• Good oral and written communication skills in English and at least one other official local language.
• Decision-making skills on the application of specific procedures and sequences associated with Metered Services Billing Coordination.

Job purpose:

• Managing the key performance and results indicators associated with Metered Services of the Revenue Management and Customer Care Department through the implementation of laid down policies and procedures dictating financial reporting and billing (Metered Services, pre-payment vending and levying of tariffs) requirements, providing input into longer term objectives settings and revenue collection planning sequences; and directing and executing accounting procedures and processes associated with managing revenue income.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
